UNH guy again hesitant in posting this to the list...

I guess I don't understand the "as they stand" part vs. the numbers.  I think
you can argue that each ranking system has certain flaws or weaknesses, but I
guess every team is subject to them and it all works out in the end.  Roughly
speaking, if every team has to play with one hand tied behind their back, they
all have to play with one hand behind their back even though so some teams may
be better playing one-handed.
 
Anyway, (beating this horse to death) if the "as they stand" part is a team's
overall record would UNH at 17-6 still be over-rated?
