This was my first game (watching the bears) and it was their first game of
the season!
 
I know lots of you probably watched it on TV (hope you did)!  From up close
and personal it was inspiring...to say the least!
I talked with hockey people, even Gopher faithfuls and they were very, very
impressed with this MAINE team....(-:
 
No excuses right out of the gate......they creamed the Gophs.....
 
despite all the Hollywood hoopla, pre game display ( Disney light show,
bungee jumping Gopher, terpsichorean cheerleaders on skates, fireworks, MN Ms
imbedded in the ice that lit up and an entrance canopied by smoke and
banners) .......nothing helped........the Gophs couldn't get up for this
one......(-:
 
they were in a word.......flat........... right out of the gate........
 
Coach commented to me after the game.........."It was your cooking!"
