I would also like to pass on my heartfelt thanks to Deron and all of the
other contributors to the Maine Hockey Discussion List.  I have enjoyed
it tremendously since its inception and hope that it continues a
positive growth path.  I hope to be in a position to be a more
significant contributor in the near future (once I get a home computer)
but at least I have some contact through my work environment.  I will
still help out wherever and whenever I can.  Although I am a season
ticket holder for UNH, I am a true-blue Black Bear supporter who
thoroughly supports and enjoys Maine hockey.
 
I have to say that Deron's comments concerning list subscribers getting
"flamed" does disturb me.  I would have to assume these are simply
troublemaker fans that pledge allegiance to other schools and are just
trying to "stir" the pot.  I personally would ignore such comments and
not pay them any mind.
 
I am ready for the 1997-1998 season and for the latest edition of the
Maine Black Bears.  I'm sure Shawn is ready to roll and I'm confident he
will have another successful year behind the bench.  So, let's get some
spirit flowing out there Black Bear faithful!! Let's all try and pitch
in by posting whenever you have some extra time (at home or at the
office) - Deron has been more than accomodating in this respect in the
past so let's try and give him some much needed support.
