I don't think it is a forgone conclusion at all.  A lot of people said
he'd only be here one year, but he is really looking forward to playing
with his brother next year.  The Heisten brothers are real close.
 
Heard that Barrett has been hanging out with the team this summer and
all indications are he'll stay.
 
Also, remember that Buffalo is a pretty young team that just went to
the Stanley Cup.  They clearly see the potential in college players
like Heisten and Janik, but they don't have a need to sign either of
them which could keep them here a couple years, unless they choice to
go major junior to further develop.
 
As we found out with Heisten last summer, we probably won't know till
September for sure.
