HOCKEY EAST KARHU PLAYER OF THE WEEK
NICK SINERATE, JR F, PROVIDENCE
Sinerate (Northboro, MA) enjoyed one of his best weekends in a Friar
uniform.  Sinerate scored three goals and added an assist in a weekend
sweep of Boston College and Merrimack which moved Providence into fourth
place in Hockey East.  He has recorded three goals and four assists for
seven points in 23 games this season.
HONORABLE MENTION: Chris Masters (F, Boston College); Michel Larocque (G,
Boston University); Brian Regan (G, Mass Amherst); Rob Beck (F, Merrimack).
 
HOCKEY EAST ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
DREW HALE, D, MERRIMACK
Hale (Arlington, MA) set up four goals and went +3 in Merrimack's weekend
split with Northeastern and Providence.  He assisted on two goals each
night.  Hale has 10 points this season, all assists, in 26 games.
HONORABLE MENTION: Jeff Farkas (F, Boston College); Tommi Degerman (F,
Boston University); Greg Koehler (F, Mass Lowell); Sean Matile (G, New
Hampshire); Fernando Pisani (F, Providence).
