As I sit back and read all of the comments on this thing, I often find
myself sitting and wondering the motives behind some of the messages...
 I mean there are some terrific debates and there are some STRONG-held
opinions on each and every one.  I have long-thought about responding
to them on here, as I feel I see things from a different perspective,
but I have restrained in fear of the verbal backlashing that I see on
here...  BUT... then I figured, through the advice of a friend, (thanks
Pook), that I'm pretty much done here in a couple months and then I
will be on the outside looking in like most others... (which would
eliminate the idea of my unique position)
 
So here goes... ( I'm not planning on typing a novel about any of the
issues but I will certainly add my 2 cents where I can from now on)
 
Alfond NEEDS to be louder...  Entering the surface through the tunnel
can be the most inspiring feeling EVER!!!  And, on the flipside, how
UNEVENTFUL is it to sit on the bench, look around and see NOTHING
HAPPENING...  I don't think that this is a marketing problem because
their duty is to get people to the games... they're there... They
aren't making ANY noise...  Point of Fact.. the opponent's
introcuction... The things that the Blue Line club yell HAVEN'T CHANGED
since I can remember...  Why is it that only the BLC yells it???  Heck,
they even hold up signs!!  and the chant of "SEIVE"... everyone does
it... It poses a certain way to affect a goalie (even though they
expect it)... ALAS, Alfond does not provide this... Funny that the
balcony is SO close for this and yet most noise comes from up by the
press box... GO FIGURE... (is this a case in point for students... hmmm)
 
Coach Walsh's issue needs to be given a rest...  He's wasn't innocent
but let the man do HIS job... TO present the best group of on-ice
individuals to entertain the fans...  If compliance told me that Torry
could play, I probably would have too...  He supported his role of
presenting the best on-ice entertainment.!!!
 
I sure hate to leave this like this but I'm sure that there will be
SOME opinions or destruction of my comments... but hey... I welcome it,
let's compare views???
