Don't think Paul Kariya has an impact on the Ducks? In 30 games he is
16-38--44, and check out the game winning goals leaders in the NHL:

GAME-WINNING GOALS

NAME TEAM GP GW
Paul Kariya Anaheim 30 6
Mike Modano Dallas 44 6
+Jim Campbell St. Louis 45 6
Jeremy Roenick Phoenix 35 5
Ray Sheppard Florida 40 5
Jaromir Jagr Pittsburgh 42 5
Mark Messier NY Rangers 42 5
Bill Guerin New Jersey 42 5
Zigmund Palffy NY Islanders 42 5

Kariya is really turning into a star at the NHL level, and it is clear that
he is respected around the league. He'll be starting the All-Star game
Saturday, and has not cracked the leaderboard in scoring despite missing all
those games.
