I have always liked Larry Mahoney a lot and respected him a great deal, and
this column only serves to reinforce that.  He gave a succinct and
intelligent commentary on the issue without resorting to cheap shots, and
he stuck to the facts.
 
This seems to me to be the perfect reply to Repr. Mayo's proposal.
