About Marshall Brown's response on the Great Western Freezeout:
This must have been at least the 5th Freezeout (MSU was in two prior ones
e.g.) and the attendance patterns were much the same.  I don't have the
data, but ...  The 2000 this past year may have been an attendance
record.  My guess for the NCAA tourney is that attendance is heavily
dependent on the number who travel from the competing schools - but
I wish them well.
