Don't universities grant tenure to professors so they don't have to worry
about losing their jobs researching and publishing controversial topics.
Heaven forbid Peter should have a controversial(at least in some minds:) )
opinion on the quality of Pio's reffing job .  Thats the NCAA for ya,
protecting and serving the $$$$$$$$.. Well worth the fine IMHO, I
noticed(from BDN article), Peter sent letters of apology to Coach Whitehead
and the University of Maine but not the NCAA or Pio. Huh, imagine that:)
