In Kingston this weekend, linemates Stephanie Boyd and Andria Hunter took
their show on the road, each collecting 6 points in a pair of wins over
Queen's. On Friday, Robin Williams recorded her first win of the season
as the Varsity Blues overpowered Queen's 7-1. Hunter recorded 2 goals and
3 assists, and Boyd 3 goals and 1 assist. The following day, Queen's was
blanked 3-0 by Toronto, with Boyd scoring 2 goals, Hunter collecting 1 assist,
and Tammy Strong recording the shutout. The Varsity Blues are now 5-0.
Stephanie Boyd will be trying out for Team USA in their final selection camp
in December. Andria Hunter, a member of Canada's 1992 Gold Medal winning
team, will be trying out for Canada's 1994 National Women's team in January.
The 3rd Women's World Hockey Championships will be held in Lake Placid,
April 11-17 1994.
