Nebraska-Omaha went 3 for 3 in the early signing period.
They offered scholarships to wingers Nick Fohr(Lincoln Stars/USHL) and Jeff
Hoggan(Powell River Kings/BC Jr. Hockey League), and defenseman Zach
Scribner(Hill-Murray High/St. Paul, Minn), and all three accepted.
Scribner said he would accept after visiting UNO's inaugral game against
Manitoba State. The atmosphere surrounding the team sold UNO to him.
Fohr needed some nudging from UNO Captain Jeff Edwards, who was a linemate
with Fohr last year, and softball teammate over the summer.
Hoggan had made visits to Michigan state and Alaska-Anchorage, but decided
to come to UNO because of the coaching staff.
