It is a little early in the year for another version of a trash BU thread
to start. Like most teams, BU fans (most of them anyway) like to see
games against regional rivals. For an older fan like me I clearly
remember when the ECAC teams were league rivals. Why anyone would
complain about games against Clarkson and St. Lawrence-two very tough
opponents at home-is beyond me.

Like all NC$$ teams, BU cannot play more teams than anyone else, although
they managed this year to add an extra against Minnesota. My only
complaint is that I may be able to get to Boston during the holiday
season for the first time in years but BU will be absent. I don't think
playing holiday games in Grand Forks is a recruiting tool but someone has
already commented that the Fighting Sioux could be a top WCHA team this year.
