UAF goals by Trent Schachle, Greg Milles, Jeff trembecky.

Very exciting game, with UAF coming out a little flat after 19 days off,
then roaring back in the last 1.5 periods. Several verrrryyy close opptys
in last 5 minutes for the Nanooks, who seem to be learning that they really
can play in the CCHA. MSU, who already knows they can play anywhere, was
led by Mr. Carter, who is a piece of work indeed. He scored the pivotal
goal on a breakaway, zipping in on L wing and methodically undressing Larry
Moberg, the Nanook's goalie, as he stickhandled across the front of the
crease. Looked like the whole thing happened in slow motion, sort of like a
living instant replay.

Thus, the Nanooks continue their inability to win on Thursday night, but
there's reason for optimism for the next 2 nights up here on the frozen
tundra of the Carlson Center.
