at lynah rink cornell defeats a shorthanded yale squad [suspensions
from the n.dakota game, injuries] 6-2. six different cornell players
tallied the goals [palahickey, hornby, hynes, cook, paolini and
downs]. yale goals by jackson and hellemeyer. LeNeveu gets the win,
dombrowolski gets the loss for yale. let's hope this balanced scoring
attack continues.
I did quickly check the link John Whelan posted earlier today for
yale's putative online broadcast
http://www.am.wybc.com/
(Click on the "LISTEN ONLINE" tab.)
but they didn't appear to be broadcasting the game. since my 2 week
free trial expires saturday, i need to decide whether to actually
subscribe to the real one audio service. according to John's list
http://mywebpages.comcast.net/letsgored/audiolinks.html. only cornell
and princeton require the subscription service. now that the ecac
teams have played a few games, can anyone from the other ecac schools
confirm that there schools are still providing free internet
broadcasts?
on the yahoo.com site http://sports.yahoo.com/m/ncaah/live.html only
a few schools have audio links available, UNH, colgate, w.michigan,
colorado college and minnesota [at least for friday night] UNH,
colgate, colorado college and minnesota [on saturday].
