I wonder if this depends on the team you primarily watch or the
conference you're in?  After watching many Clarkson games,
slashing, hooking, holding and interference come to mind as very
popular. (Please do not take that as a summary of Clarkson Hockey
in general! B*)  )  I think that as long as the penalties have
been type into some computer somewhere, then a frequency statistic
can be easily obtained.  If certain regions play different styles,
then certain penalties in that region may occur more frequently
(as a policy to reduce this behavior) or less frequently (as
being less of a priority of that conference to curtail this behavior
over another, more severe behavior.)  You cannot enforce all the
rules at the same time it seems.
