It was nice to see Red Berenson finally get his due. He is a hockey
man's hockey man and one of the few survivors from the old school
(pre-nike).  Red's willingness to reveal his human side to his young
players unlocked the door that was shut for so long.  He also had one
of the best skating team "I've ever saw" in the CCHA.
(and this is all coming from an MSU grad).
