Hello i replying to a message about the providence 2003-2002. Do you think
the freshman goalie can come and make Schaffer a better goalie. I went to
many games and he did not look super and especially compared to two years
ago. I think it very good they picked up two defensemen becuase that is
where they were struggling last year. Is Providence going to be able to
polled high this year because last year they were not.

Meyers, a 6-foot, 200-pound left wing, established the  record for most
goals in a season (27) by a member of the Cedar Rapids Roughriders of
theUSHL.In addition to his 27 goals in 2001-02, Meyers also recorded 25
assists in 58 games.  He was named Cedar Rapids Roughriders' Offensive
Player of the Year in 2001-02.  Meyers led the USHL in penalty minutes
with231 this season.  He is the son of Chuck and Leslie Meyers.  Meyers is a
graduate of Sault Ste. Marie (Mich.) High School.
