From Sid Hartman's column (Mpls. Star-Tribune, Sept. 20):
"The Gophers hockey players attending captains' practices at Mariucci
Arena have to pay $200 apiece for ice time. 'If we didn't charge them it
would be an extra benefit under NCAA rules', said men's athletic director
Mark Dienhart."
I don't have a clue to what ice time normally costs, but $200 per player
seems kinda high to me! Anyone know if the cost is typical?
