Well, Gary Thorne broke into doing hockey in his "early" days as an
attorney in Old Town, Maine by announcing Maine college hockey games.
For those who like to complain about bias among announcers, it's almost
impossible to learn about this by listening to him, unless you are a
long-time Maine fan and knew of his background.
