Bowling Green seems to have an excellent class coming in next year.
 
Antti Illvonen is the newest signee coming over from the Helsinki Junior
team in Finland.  Antti learned of BG from a teammate who obtained info
from the internet.  Illvonen is a 6-2 195 lb forward who had 17 goals and
17 assists in 29 games last year.
 
BJ Adams is a 6-3 190 lb defenseman who went 10-26-36 points and 68 PIM
for Stratford last year.
 
Craig Desjarlais is a 6-1 180lb winger who scored 27-29-56 points in 40
games with 52 PIM for Leamington last year.
 
Adam Edinger(who I think will be the best of the bunch) is a 6-2 195lb
center who had 44-51-95 pts and 107 PIM in 45 games for Leamington.
Named MVP of the Western Ontario Junior B League.  Should be a force
right away for the Falcons.
 
Mike Jones is a 6-3 180lb d-man who had 24-39-63 points and 104 PIM in 40
games for the Cleveland Barons.
 
Peter Ratchuk is a 6-0 175lb d-man (don't have any stats) who played for
the Shattuck St. Mary's Prep School in minnesota this year.  Ratchuk,
along with Edinger, are ranked among the top 10 recruits by the Red Line
report.
 
  I'm really looking forward to seeing these guys play next year. Should
help the Falcons get that elusive bid to the big tourney next year.
