I was away all week,  and thus did not see the discussion about Hobey
nominees becoming impact players.
 
        To whomever pointed out that Nelson Emerson was nominated three times,  well
last night against the Devils he sure LOOKED like an impact player for the
Whalers in their improbable 1-0 win.   I don't care whether we use Jack's
definition of the term or anyone else's.
 
        Of course,  one game does not an impact make.   But I had forgotten all about
Nelson Emerson.   Good point.
