There is an article on the USA Today web page saying that Nebraska-Omaha has
received approval from the NC$$ to begin a Div. I men's hockey program starting
in Sept. 1997 and that they have applied to the WCHA for membership.

It also says that they do not currently have a hockey team at any of the three
NC$$ levels. Do they have a club team? Has any other school jumped from
club status (or nothing) to Div. I and been at all successful?
