I think you mean Jimmy Collins.  (Doug is the former Bulls coach who now
coaches the Detroit Pistons.)
 
I heard yesterday that Larry Pedrie has been fired (maybe this is old
news?).  But I don't think the Flames will fold, if only for the reason
why the hockey team was started at UIC in 1980.  That decision was also
based, partly, on the basketball programs at the two Illinois campuses.
