Mankato State's hockey program will move to Div1 in the 1996/97 season.
They have inquired about joining the WCHA. The matter will be discussed at
the league meetings in April.
 
Nebraska-Omaha has no hockey program, but once had a club team.  They are
considering establishing a Div1 hockey program.  They are presumed to be
interested in joining the WCHA if that occurs.
