If they want to do it right they should follow the lead of just about every NHL team
and change their color to black.  Then they should pick an entity with a violent
reputation, such as a shark.  Of course, the "S" sound is rather aggressive so work
with it.  How about the Stanford Slashers?  They could keep a small amout of red
for the sharks mouth & eyes on their jerseys.
 
I would want the $500 to go to the NRA.
