Just as a note, even though Tamer averaged about 129 PIM per year, that is
far from the record...Dan Mandich of OSU had 617 career PIM from 1978-82.
And those of you who follow HE thought Rico Rossi's total of 406 (the media
guide listing of 304 is wrong) was high...
 
Mandich could score, too...in 80-81 he had 20-26--46 in 39 games when OSU
went 24-12-3 and finished 2nd in the CCHA.
