this Thursday in Milwaukee are:
 
    1:30  Michigan vs. Maine
    7:00  Lake Superior vs. BU
 
Also, this is THE FIRST TIME IN THE HISTORY of the NCAA* Division I
ice hockey tournament that a team from the WCHA has not been a member
of the "final four"* set of teams. From the 40s to the 70s(?), 2 teams
were picked from the ECAC and WCHA. In the 70s the CCHA received a bid
and in the 80s, Hockey East was included. Through all of that, the WCHA
always had a team that was just 2 wins from the national title. Not
any more!
