Hockey is way too skilled, too beautiful a game to be blood sport. There is
always an inherent risk EVEN without illegal intent to harm behavior. It's a
fast, contact game. Though, I would disagree, making it a safer game is
cost effective. Skyrocketing insurance, medical costs necessitate it. Colin's
predecessor said that guys shouldn't be "shrinking violets but they should
shrink from violence. " I thought that was a good way to put it.
