Probably the same way Baseball players get new bats and cleats, football
players get new pads, and basketball players get new shoes. The Universities
supply the equipment. That's my bet anyway. I've always assumed that at the
college level, the schools provide the pads, uniforms, etc... Never heard
otherwise. That's why the startup costs of hockey is so expensive for new
colleges.
