Allain Roy, Chuckie Hughes the first time ... and Trippy Tracy, Aaron Israel
the second time.

I think experience shows it's not a bad idea.  In fact, it seems that most of
the really good-to-great goalies in the country played right away as freshmen.
So why not two of them?
 
For example, Tim Thomas (Vermont) and Dan Murphy (Clarkson) have played almost
every minute since they arrived.  J.R. Prestifilippo (Harvard) has played every
minute this year.  Along with RPI's guys, these may be the best goalies in the
league.  Throw Union's Trevor Koenig into the mix also.
