According to my television, Empire Sports Network will debut on DirecTV
on February 1.  For those of you who are subscribers, it will be Channel
313.  This will provide the ECAC with a lot more television exposure than
it currently gets.  And, it is yet another reason for people who don't
live in the major college hockey markets to get a satellite dish of some
sort.
 
Empire Sports Network is another in a series of regional cable networks
to join DirecTV.  Others that carry college hockey and are already
available are: NESN, PASS, MSC, most SportsChannel and Prime Sports
affiliates.
