I don't know how it pertains to college hockey (unless
a team lurking on Hockey-L wishes to purchase it), but
the following appeared in THE NCAA NEWS (November 13)
and is too funny to let pass.

[begin quoted material]
4-Sided, N.H.L. scoreboard built by American
Sign & Indicator Corporation. Installed in sum-
mer of 1985. Has been maintained in excellent
condition and has many spare parts, including
bulbs. Has never been used for more than 60
events per year since installation. Dimensions:
24'6" wide at the top, 22'3" at the bottom, 17'3"
high. Weight of structure: 18,000 pounds.
Display units include 64x96 (9'4" high by 14'0"
wide) Sportacolor (red, blue, green, white
lamps), color UNEXs, backlit ad panels and all
game-in-process scoring. Computers, hoist,
documentation and all other parts required for
a complete system are included. We can pro-
vide extensive operator and maintenance train-
ing if desired. Price to be discussed. The pur-
chases assumes all costs of dismantling, pack-
ing, duties and taxes (if applicable), and ship-
ping. Available from April 15, 1996. For infor-
mation contact: Mr. Bernard Brisset, Vice-
President, Communications and Marketing
Services, Montreal Canadiens Hockey Club,
2313 Ste-Catherine Street West, Montreal,
Quebec, Canada H3H 1N2, Tel: 514/989-2777,
fax: 514/932-9296. For technical information:

I don't even want to guess at a proposed purchase price.
