The following players were honored this past Saturday at the annual BGSU
Hockey Awards Banquet.
 
Brian Holzinger- Team MVP
Will Clarke- Coaches award and most improved player
Mike Johnson- Scholar athlete award
Wayne Strachan LSSU- Most honored opponent
Bartt Davis of WFOB/WBVI radio- Recognition award for distinguished
service to the program
 
Jeff Elvin- Terry Flanagan award as the teams most courageous player.
Elvin was seriously injured last fall while driving from his home town of
Apple Valley, Minnesota to BG for the new school year.  Elvin has missed
all classes this year while recuperating at home but was at the banquet
Saturday to receive his award.
