my friend lance (the demigod of prognostication himself) and i
caught a lot of #$%& during the 1st 2 periods of the minnesota
game from a few giddy-from-the-michigan-game maine fans, but
not during the championship game. [lance somehow managed to buy
our block of 4 tickets in the middle of the maine section.]

i am one of the many bu fans that applauded each and every black
bear as they received their hardware after the game. i was one
of many that thought bu's sweeping of maine in the 94 hockey east
quarterfinal round was a signal of the coming of a down year for
maine. what shawn walsh and the team were able to accomplish in
94-95 truly demanded and earned and received my respect.
