The refs initially called a rules infraction, which was correct, Mr.
Federenko should have received a penalty on his hit on Mikesch.  However,
due to circumstances which I shall explain, I believe the fans changed
the penalty from 2 to 5 minutes.
 
1. An earlier penalty on MTU, which to me seemed like a bit more vicious,
but not necessarily a major-type penalty, was a 2 minute minor.
 
2. The fans were vociferous in there want of a 5 minute penalty.
 
3. If the refs were calling it a 5 all along, why would it take so long
to get that thing on the board.
 
4. The replay showed that Mikesch turned before the hit, however, in the
split seconds that things happen in hockey, you really can't
differentiate that quickly without a replay.
 
Just my $0.02, and I am not trying to put Walt down or anything.
