Look... this is getting ridiculous. I know I'm responding to more than Mr.
Blake's comments here, but the number of messages bashing other HE schools
and Boston area media for a supposed bias against Maine are getting
downright silly and I'd like to ask people to just cut it out, please.
 
Like any other newspaper, when it comes to marginal sports news like
college hockey, the Globe will basically look at two criteria: 1) proximity
2) newsworthiness (which in this case equals # of wins).
 
To suggest that the Globe would intentionally ignore the results of BU
games JUST to spite Maine is frankly ridiculous. I guarantee you, Mr.
Blake, nobody there is expending that amount of effort thinking about it.
