CANSTAR/CCHA OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK:  Tim Christian, a senior right wing
from Ferris State University, has been selected Canstar/CCHA Offensive Player
of the Week for his performance the weekend of December 2-3, 1994.  He played
junior hockey for the Kalamazoo Junior K-Wings of the NAJHL.
 
Christian, a 6-0, 190-pound native of Grand Rapids, Michigan, had four points
(two goals, two assists) as Ferris State split their weekend games against
Bowling Green.  In Friday's 7-3 loss, he had two points (one power play goal,
one assist).  On Saturday, Christian notched the game-winning goal and added
another assist as Ferris State fought back from an early 2-0 deficit to upend
Bowling Green 7-4.  For the weekend, he was a plus two (plus/minus).
 
CANSTAR/CCHA DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK:  Brian Renfrew, a senior goaltender
from Western Michigan University, has been selected Canstar/CCHA Defensive
Player of the Week for the weekend of December 2-3, 1994.  He played junior
hockey for the Kalamazoo Junior K-Wings of the NAJHL.
 
Renfrew, a 5-9, 160-pound native of Fairbanks, Alaska, had 26 saves (.963 saves
percentage) in Western Michigan's 2-1 come-from-behind overtime victory against
Lake Superior on Friday.  On Saturday, Renfrew allowed just two goals (.913
saves percentage) as Western Michigan again came-from-behind to defeat the Ohio
State Buckeyes 4-2.
