BOWLING GREEN STATE UNIVERSITY -- Senior goalie Will Clarke raised his record
to 5-0-0 Friday with his win at Ferris State.  He has not allowed more than
three goals in any game this year.  Over his last four appearances, Clarke has
allowed six goals in 202:33 for a 1.78 goals-against average and has been
credited with 69 saves for a .920 saves percentage.
 
FERRIS STATE UNIVERSITY -- Freshman netminder Jeff Blashill improved his record
to 3-0-1with his victory Saturday against Bowling Green.  Sophomore defenseman
Andy Roach has a point in five straight games recording three goals and three
assists for six points during the streak.
 
UNIVERSITY OF ILLINOIS AT CHICAGO -- Senior center Chris MacDonald has a point
in four of the last five games tallying two goals and three assists for five
points in that span.  Senior left wing Derek Knorr has a point in six of the
last eight UIC contests scoring two goals and four assists for six points.
 
LAKE SUPERIOR STATE UNIVERSITY -- Sophomore right wing Matt Alvey has three
goals in the last three games including two power play goals in Saturday's game
at Michigan State.  This was the first time since the 1983-84 season that the
Lakers entered December with a sub .500 record.  This year's squad entered
December with a 3-4-3 mark, while the 1983-84 team had a 6-7-0 record during
October and November.  In coach Jeff Jackson's first four years at the helm,
Lake Superior was 37-11-4 (.750) during October and November.
 
MIAMI UNIVERSITY -- Junior center Kevyn Adams has a five-game point-streak
heading into Friday's game at UIC.  During the streak, he has one goal and
seven assists for eight points.  Adams had a seven- game point-streak to start
the season, and he has been held off the scoresheet only twice this year
(November 18-19 at Michigan).
 
UNIVERSITY OF MICHIGAN -- Senior right wing Mike Knuble has 74 career goals to
tie him for 22nd place on the Wolverines all-time list with Mel Wakabayashi
(1964-66).  Michigan is undefeated (9-0-0) when wingers Mike Knuble, Jason
Botterill and Warren Luhning have all been in the lineup.
 
MICHIGAN STATE UNIVERSITY -- Junior center Anson Carter extended his point-
streak to five games with two goals and one assist on Friday, and one goal and
one assist on Saturday.  Carter has a point in nine of the last 10 games
scoring 11 goals and adding four assists for 15 points.
 
UNIVERSITY OF NOTRE DAME -- Junior blueliner Garry Gruber has two goals and
three assists for five points in the last five games with a power play goal.
 
OHIO STATE UNIVERSITY -- Despite an 0-3-0 record in six appearances, junior
goaltender Kurt Brown has not allowed more than four goals in any game this
year.  His 3.91 goals-against average is below is career goals-against average
of 4.05.
 
WESTERN MICHIGAN UNIVERSITY -- Sophomore right wing Justin Cardwell has a goal
in two consecutive games and has five goals in the last seven games.  Junior
left wing Chris Brooks will carry a six-game assist-streak into Saturday's home
game against the University of Michigan.  Brooks has a point in 12 of the 16
Bronco contests this year and has five multiple-point games.
 
UNIVERSITY OF ALASKA FAIRBANKS -- Sophomore left wing Pat Williams has equalled
his goal output (8) from a year ago with his power play marker on Saturday at
Miami.  Last season in 37 games, he had eight goals and 33 points, while this
year in 14 games he has eight goals and 12 points.
 
CCHA - DID YOU KNOW? -- Did you know there have been 15 former CCHA Players of
the Year who have appeared in the NHL (Mike Liut, Don Waddell, John Markell,
Ken Morrow, Steve Weeks, George McPhee, Paul Pooley, Ray Staszak, Dan Dorion,
Mark Vermette, Bruce Hoffort, Kip Miller, Jim Dowd, Dwayne Norris, and Brian
Savage).
 
CCHA INFORMATION -- Of the 295 players on CCHA rosters as of December 1, 1994,
171 or 58% were from the United States, with 121 or 41% hailing from Canada.
The remaining three players are from Russia.  Players are from 20 states and 10
provinces with Ontario (64-22%), Michigan (56-19%), Minnesota (25- 8%), Alberta
(20-7%), and Alaska and Illinois (19-6%) leading the way.
