The old line changes consisted of getting the puck in Cornell's end,
skating it to the far blue line, dumping it in the offensive zone as the
entire line changes. Cornell was changing lines just as they were
beginning to generate offense. This gives the other team time to get the
puck and bring it out of the zone. What Cornell has been doing of late is
skating the puck into the zone, and at least one forward has been trying to
keep it in the zone as the new line is coming out. This means they can
continue to play on offense instead of having to stop an up ice rush by the
other team.
