        Some BU notes...

Goalie Derek Herlofsky, whose GAA is off the Richter saxxx scale
at 4.53, will start in net tonight for the Terriers at Northeastern.

Freshman goalie Tom Noble may start Saturday when the two teams
play at BU. Noble came off the bench last week down 5-1 to Lowell
to at least stop the bleeding as BU came back for the win 9-7.

        Parker said xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

BU coach Jack Parker said ax last week we wouldn't see NOble until
the UMass-Amherst series next week. Obviously they are reconsidering
that plan. The goaltending situation at BU may be moving towards a
50-50 rotation faster than anyone expected.

        Injuries:
Forward Jay Pandolfo (torn groin muscle) is out. He has yet to
        play this year.
Center Mike Sylvia (slightly separated left shoulder) is questionable
for tonight but he said he was positive he would be ready for Saturday.
Kx Forward Ken Rausch (pulled abdominal muscle) is not a full strength
and was moved down to the fourth line in practice this week. His spot
on the first line with Mike Prendergast and Jacques Joubert will be
taken by Bob Lachance. Lookex Look for Lachance to stay there even after rausch heals.

Oh by the way, Forward Mike Grier leads BU in scoring with four
goals and four assists in four games.

Saturday's game at Walter Brown Arena will be televised on WABU-68.
