Badger road to the FF easy?

In looking at the most recent polls, it looks like the Badgers have a
pretty easy road to the FF in Albany, based on team rankings. According
to the recently posted "Tadpoll", the Badgers are ranked higher than
both New Hampshire and St. Lawrence. Is this another anomaly of most
Western teams being ranked higher than the Eastern teams in the various
polls?
