I have just received an e-mail from a very reliable Bemidji State source. Here it is:
>We were informed that the I.H.A. playoff champion would receive an
>automatic bid to the Division I, 12 team playoff starting in the 2001. The
>I.H.A. meets the criteria set by the N.C.A.A. such as D-I membership by all
