        Re: the Alma Maters' being played at the start of the third period
in the ECAC. Ralph Baer is right. Clarkson used to do this too, with both
teams on the blue lines as I recall. Both schools' Alma Mater.   Wonderful
tradition!! Another feature which used to distinguish hockey from
basketball. It should be started again. If the rules need to be changed to
allow it, then get it done.
 
        But for Clarkson, only the *old* Alma Mater (at least the tune more
commonly known as "Maryland, My Maryland" or "Oh, Tannenbaum") would do. The
new one is simply uninspiring, and no one who graduated more than eight
years ago recognizes it:-(:-(
