Scott says "If a ref makes 98% of the "right" calls, he's a bum."
Find me a ref who makes 98% of the calls and I'll canonize them. If they
do not make the right call a majority of the time, then they are above
average. Where would your goalie be if he had a .499 save percentage?
Probably playing soccer.
 
And Scott adds, "They have to see the whole ice with out the benefit of
being elevated and removed from the action."
I'd like to elevate them and remove them from the action. Ever wonder
what game the refs are watching?
 
The real thorn in the fans' side is when these pathetic refs get
important games. Was anyone in Albany to see Lake Superior State vs
Wisconsin? It is the process by which individuals get chosen that is the
most secretive and dumbfounding problem. Cloistered nuns and monks are
more open than the hiearchy of officialdom (or is that officialdumb?)
