At many rinks, the goal lights are tied into the clock.
  All NHL rinks for example have this feature, and many
  college rinks do as well. However, there are certainly
  rinks that do not have this feature.  Although I haven't
  done a study of ECAC Div I rinks, I would be very suprised
  if all had clock/goal-light links, and I am positive that
  there are several Div 3 schools that do not have this set
  up.
