Do the individual conferences has "dates of first practice" that differ from
the NCAA's?  I have always been under the impression that the ECAC starts
much later than the WCHA and CCHA.  Additionally, the Ivies of the ECAC
aren't allowed to start as early as the ECAC allows.  Have I been
misinformed?  What are the scheduled "first practice", both non-ice and ice
for the conferences/teams?
