I read an article in today's Wisconsin State Journal that the blood clot
that Jason received was caused by a hole in his heart that never closed
when he was little. Apparently, we all are born with a hole in our hearts
but usually they do close.  Fortunately, they just have to surgical close
up his heart and he'll be able to continue to play hockey.
 
I work at UW hospital and had an opportunity to talk to him today.  He
looked and sounded like he was in doing great and is eager to get back to
Minnesota.  If I hear anything new, I'll keep you updated.
