From Minnesota this afternoon. MTU 3 Minnesota 2 in OT! ;-)
with 31 seconds left in OT Kyle Peterson scores from
Savage to give the Huskies 2 big points on the road.

From the radio it sounded like both Goaltenders played suberb,
however Minnesota's goaltender Callanen (sp) was injured as Pat
Mikesch tried a tip in the OT. I can;t say what happened here
from the radio, we'll wait for Carol and Eriks report. But he
had to come out of the game. It sounded like both teams
went end to end in the OT.

Carol had mentioned that the gophers hit 4 posts last weekend,
and it sounded like that continued, as the hit 3 or 4 posts
and one cross bar

The Huskies are now 3-0-1 on the road this season, a place they
had a hard time winning last season.

This was the Huskies first regular season win at Minnesota in
15 attempts! ;-)

Final game tomorrow afternoon.
Bob
