first of all, just a word for you people from MASS and the NE region.
congratulations on winning the right to host the 1996 World Junior
Championships which will be played late Dec 1995, early Jan 1996.
I highly recommend that you take advantage of this opportunity to see
not only local college players skating for the US team, but also the
countless number of nhl prospects on other teams. The tournament is
full of high calibre squads (canada, sweden, russia) and many of
today's nhl stars have competed in this tournament.

also this is a bit of old news, two university of michigan sophomores,
left wing Jason botterill (WJC 1994) (1994 Dallas, 20 overall), and
center Brendan Morrison (1993 NJ, 39 overall) have been invited to
participate in the Canada World Jr evaluation camp in August. They
are the only two collegiate players who were invited to the camp.
However, if a canadian-born freshman or two lights up the lamp and
makes a strong impression in the fall semester, some may have the
chance to be invited to the December camp for the final cuts. Likely
candidates include mike watt (MSU), ryan johnson (NODAK), robb gordon
(MICH), and greg crozier (??). This 1995 World Jr. Championship will
     be held in Alberta.

btw, my 1995 final four (bu, msu, mich, lssu)

     thanks for your time,

     jeff
